The Blackbutt dining table was already a feature when we were asked to design and build a couple of liquor cabinets, a credenza and an entertainment unit for this home by the beach. Many hours followed cutting veneers and laminating to extract every bit of detail from sustainably logged Blackbutt. Plasma cut steel formed dividers for the entertainment unit designed to give options for open and enclosed space. Lighting creates depth and shadows allowing overhead lights to be turned down at night.
