It's no secret we're mad for ply around here. Cheap, sustainable, easy to work with... What's not to love? Although there are some very nice (and very expensive) ply's around these days there's something nice about pushing the cheap stuff to the limit. When we started designing this project we wanted to make use of some pretty special Marri we'd found but didn't have enough for anything substantial. Cutting our own veneers is time consuming and labour intensive but always worth it. It makes a little bit of timber go a long way.

The "Gulp" coffee table is 85cm * 120cm and comes fitted with casters because any coffee table you can push around the room is awesome.
